Brother Grimm Contest

We would like to thank everyone who participated in the contest The Grimm Brothers. This first edition consisted in a wide selection of unique works from artists from the five continents. By zebraBooks is proud to announce that the winner of the contest is the illustrator Margarita Hernandez from Spain. Her submission surprised and impressed the jury by the way her illustrations combined a  graphic language that conveyed a unique aesthetic with an original and creative view of one of the most popular Grimm Brothers' stories. Images of her work based on The Little Red Riding Hood are show below. These illustrations will be part of the exhibition "200 Jahre der Kinder und Hausmärchen Jubiläum" to take place in the city of Marburg, Germany in 2012. An interview with the winner will be posted next week.
